Special courses can be tapered to a student's specific needs and are not tied to course dates - please enquire if you wish to study a particular dance or want a specific period of intensive study.

All classes will cover basic techniques and work on a choreography according to levels.

Intensive Flamenco Workshops

XIV FESTIVAL de JEREZ del 26 DE FEBRERO al 13 de MARZO de 2010
Alegrías and Tanguillos

Nivel principiante/beginner level.
10 hours. Start time mornings/late afternoons, to be confirmed
Encuentro con el baile flamenco: técnica y coreografía - this intensive workshop covers both technique and style as well as a choreography for Fandangos de Huelva and Tanguillos, suitable for both beginners and intermediate levels. However Simón will spend more time on assisting beginner levels to ensure techniques are understood and practised correctly. Alegrias has been choregraphed without too much complexity but although appropriate for beginners, it will appeal to those aspiring to a higher level and therefore overlaps with intermediate/advanced levels.

Intensive Flamenco Workshops  
Tangos, Bulerías, Soleá por Bulería, Farrucas

Nivel intermedio/alto intermediate/advanced level.
10 hours. Start time mornings, 12.00 am to 2.00 pm to be confirmed
Encuentro con el baile flamenco: técnica y coreografía - this workshop covers both technique and style as well as a choreography for Tangos, Bulerias and Solea por Buleria, suitable for quick learning beginners and intermediate/advanced levels.

Special classes are also available if you wish to work on a particular choreography. Some assistance given with local accommodation, please enquire. Usually a programme of flamenco events is provided with local performers.

Private classes available by arrangement.

Arrangements can be made for car hire and other cultural activities and visits though Tailormade Andalucia. For details:
